in his first year of eligibility michael jordan was inducted into the naismith basketball hall of fame. michael jordan retired in 2003 for good after 15 seasons in the nba. jordan won 6 nba championships and was a 5 time mvp and a 14 time all-star. jordan went to college at north carolina where he led the tar heels to the ncaa championship during his freshman year. jordan is considered by most basketball fans as the best ever.

along with jordan, other 2009 inductees include jerry sloan, david robinson, john stockton and c. vivian stringer. congratulations to them all.
